🍃 About Us

We met at university and bonded over our love of the outdoors, good food and honest conversations. Like many people, both of our early lives were shaped by difficult experiences and a need to focus on survival. We both realised later that we had been living on autopilot rather than truly living.

Through our own journeys with therapy and later, professional training, we learned that meaningful change is possible. We have developed tools, understanding and self‑awareness to move out of survival mode and into a more connected and fulfilling lives.

Time to Thrive Therapies grew from our personal and professional transformations, and we wanted to create a safe space  to support others in making sustainable, positive change, at a pace that feels right for them.

 

Sarah

Counsellor & Psychotherapist

My name is Sarah, an integrative therapist and an accredited member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). I also hold a first class degree in working with young people, which supports my understanding of how early experiences shape adult life.

 

I am passionate about helping people understand how childhood experiences, including trauma, influence adult relationships. From there, I support clients to set present and future focused goals, nurturing growth, self-awareness and emotional resilience.

 

Alongside talking therapy, where appropriate and if it feels helpful, I can incorporate techniques such as cold water therapy, body balancing, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and connecting with nature to help people feel supported, empowered and present.

 

My approach is collaborative and compassionate. I create a safe space where you can explore your experiences and work towards moving from surviving to thriving.

Counsellor & Psychotherapist

My name is Richard, and I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am an accredited member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). My approach is integrative and rooted in the belief that everyone has the capacity to move from surviving to thriving, even when life feels uncertain.

 

I am passionate about learning and growing alongside my clients, offering a safe, empathetic, and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. With an outgoing and adventurous spirit, I enjoy connecting with diverse individuals and making the process of self-discovery both engaging and meaningful.

 

Together, we can navigate life’s challenges, build resilience and work towards a more fulfilling and connected future.

Counselling is a supportive process where a trained professional helps you explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. It provides a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space for you to understand yourself better, work through challenges, and find ways to improve your mental and emotional well-being.

Integrative counselling means that we draw from a range of different counselling methods to provide each person with the most appropriate therapy, wherever they are in their journey.

This means we can tailor each session to your individual needs and goals, whether you are processing past experiences, managing current challenges or building toward a calmer, more balanced future.

We offer flexible psychotherapy sessions to suit your needs, including nationwide online and telephone appointments, as well as face to face and walk and talk sessions with Sarah (Worcestershire area) and Rich (Warwickshire area).
