💬 Talking Therapy

Talking therapy is a space where you can talk openly about what’s going on for you, at your own pace, with someone who’s there to listen without judgement. Sessions can take place face to face, online, or by telephone, depending on what feels most comfortable and accessible for you. As your counsellor, I’ll work alongside you to help you make sense of your thoughts, feelings, and experiences, especially when things feel overwhelming or stuck. Together, we might begin to notice patterns in how you think and respond, gently exploring where unhelpful or self-critical thoughts come from and how they affect how you feel. We can also look at how past experiences or relationships may be shaping things for you now, while finding ways for you to express and process emotions safely. Alongside this, I can support you in developing practical ways of coping, so you feel more able to manage difficult moments in everyday life. It’s not about giving you advice or telling you what to do, but about helping you understand yourself more clearly, find your own way forward, and feel more able to cope with whatever life brings.

🧠 Walk and Talk Therapy

Walk and talk therapy offers a more relaxed, outdoor approach to counselling, where we walk side by side rather than sit face to face. The pace is gentle and guided by you, with the option to pause, sit, or adjust at any point. Being in nature and moving at a comfortable rhythm can help you feel more at ease, making it easier to talk, reflect, or simply have quiet moments when words are hard to find. It works in much the same way as traditional therapy, but the movement and surroundings can support clearer thinking, ease anxiety, and help you process thoughts and emotions in a different way. It can be especially helpful if you feel stuck, restless, or uncomfortable in a therapy room, or if you find that being outdoors helps you think and feel more freely.
